Describe how two of the places of worship reinforce the key teachings of that religion.

At 9:12 AM, Anonymous said...: During the field trip we went on last year I went to two places of worship. They both represented how they’re religion is worshiped. First the Buddhist meditation center was very simple. The walls were white with big banners of important parts of there religion. This is important because it shows the purity of the religion and only has what they need. They have a shrine that is needed to represent the past and their connection to the Dali Lama. Also the floor was a simple rug with mats for people to meditate on. The Episcopalian church also represented their religion because a lot of the things shown in the church gave an old feeling when the church was started. It has a mural at the very front of the church. It shows major stories that have happened in the bible. Also the crosses in the church have both Jesus hanging from it and blank. This is important because it shows the remembrance of Jesus.

At 7:36 AM, Anonymous said...: The Buddhists have many pictures and colorful items on the walls of there paces of worship. Their pictures are of the Buddha reaching enlightenment. The Buddhists believe that is how you will break samsara and reach their inner piece. Christians have the Ten Commandments. If you follow those commandants you will go to heaven when you die. Even if you do not follow those Commandments, you will still go to heaven if you ask for forgiveness.
